Turn your text into fancy fonts
Type once below, then click any style to copy it — ready to paste into a bio, caption, chat, or file name. Everything runs in your browser; nothing you type is sent anywhere.
How does fancy text work?
- 1TypeType once in the box at the top.
- 2PickClick any style to copy it.
- 3PasteDrop it into a bio, caption, chat or file name.
Every style here is built from standard Unicode characters — the same characters your keyboard already knows how to display, just drawn from a different part of the Unicode table (mathematical alphabets, letterlike symbols, or combining marks for lines). That's why the styled text pastes correctly into Instagram bios, Discord names, WhatsApp chats, or a plain text file: there's no image or custom font involved, just different characters.
A few styles — underline, strikethrough, and overline — work by attaching an invisible "combining" character after each letter, which is why they can be applied on top of any text length.
Good to know
Screen readers
Because these are Unicode characters rather than real letters with alternate fonts, screen readers may not read them correctly.
Older devices
Very old devices can occasionally show a missing-character box instead of the intended glyph.
Plain text when it counts
For anything that needs to be fully accessible, like a public form or a document your visually impaired readers rely on, stick to plain text.

What is a fancy text generator?
A fancy text generator turns normal text into styled text such as bold, cursive, or bubble letters. It does this by swapping each letter for a matching Unicode character, so the result can be copied and pasted anywhere.
How do I use fancy fonts on WhatsApp?
Type your text in the box above, click the style you like to copy it, then paste it into a WhatsApp chat, group name, or your About status. No app or download is needed.
Will fancy text work in WhatsApp on both Android and iPhone?
Yes, on most modern phones. Because the styles are Unicode characters, they show on both Android and iPhone. Very old devices may display a blank box for some characters.
Is Fontnook free to use?
Yes. Fontnook is free, and there is nothing to install or sign up for.
Is the text I type sent to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser, and nothing you type is sent to a server.
